The Seahorse room is thoughtfully designed to inspire young minds further through engaging activities that promotes and scaffolds social, emotional, cognitive and physical development. Our Toddlers are moving out of babyhood and into childhood and with kindergarten around the corner our Seahorse room is the perfect fit for this stage of development. In keeping with the Australian Early Years Learning Framework, our experienced team continues to develop child’s independence, self-esteem and co-operation skills, while helping them to socialise and play with others.
Our educators combine play-based exploration with intentional teaching to foster curiosity and enhance the depth of learning occurring. We encourage critical thinking and create a supportive atmosphere where each child’s interests and abilities are nurtured, building confidence and independence. Our children also gain an appreciation for numeracy, literacy and problem-solving to further prepare them for the pre-kindergarten and beyond.
We keep families updated regularly to ensure transparency and partnership in each child’s educational journey, providing parents with insights, progress updates, and resources through our online App- OWNA to support children beyond Treasure Cove.
